Where SaneBox is the better pick
- You use iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail or another IMAP provider. Inbox Imp supports Gmail and Outlook only.
- You want sorting to happen entirely inside your current email app.
Where Inbox Imp is the better pick
- Several inboxes. Every Gmail and Outlook inbox under one login is covered by one membership.
- Rules you can read. Your policy is written in plain English. Safety protections can overrule the AI, but never a rule you wrote.
- Every decision is visible and reversible. Activity shows why each message was filed, with Restore. Archived mail stays in your email account.
- Replies stay yours. Drafts never send until you tap Send.
